Supreme x Undercover Bring the Heat With Their 2016 Collaboration

SOMEBODY PULL THE FIRE ALARM

Ok, dis hard. Japanese designer Jun Takahashi's Undercover has once again collaborated with Supreme to bring a new, sure-to-be iconic collection which drops this Thursday.

I. NEED. THIS.
Featuring edgy, anarchist designs and all-over prints, every piece in this collection looks awesome.

"Generation Fuck You"
This collection will 100% sell out within seconds, since both brands are incredibly hyped up and lauded after (plus every Supreme collection is limited, and already sells out within seconds anyway). Essentially, expect not to be able to get anything. It's the sad truth.

Brief Overview of Supreme + Undercover
Supreme is one of the most well known, influential streetwear/skate brands, with its iconic box logo (based on artist Barbara Kruger's propaganda art) and give no f*cks attitude. But I'm not gonna be that guy that explains Supreme to anyone they know.

On the other hand, Jun Takahashi is a genius, and Undercover has been a fashion staple since the turn of the century. He is considered the father of modern streetwear, having popularized graphic and distressed tees, patched leather jackets, and an overall punk rock aesthetic.

Retail price: $1,300+

I'll be trying to cop at least one piece from this collection, this Thursday at 11:00 AM, but I doubt I'll even be able to get anything.

Off-White x Babylon LA Present Second Collaboration

OFF-WHITE x Babylon LA Collaboration 2

OFF-WHITE c/o VIRGIL ABLOH and Babylon LA have joined forces once again for a second collaboration, releasing two t-shirts and caps.

I impulse bought the last collaboration immediately after a friend told me about the impending release that very same day. Both him and I sat at a desk refreshing our phones and purchased the t-shirts (he grabbed the white, I got black).

The first OFF-WHITE x Babylon LA Collaboration

I knew nothing (at the time) about the up and coming LA skate brand Babylon, created by Lee Spielman, but I was infatuated with Off-White. Former right hand man of Kanye West, Virgil Abloh's brainchild has become a successful and incredibly hyped fashion label, carried in boutiques and Barney's around the world.

"I QUIT"

This new collection features a similar design to the first, with "babylon" embroidered on the face of the shirt with "OFF" printed across. The back features another burning design, the first collab featuring a palm tree with the tag-line "I WISH YOU WOULD", the latest showcasing a dapper flaming skeleton with the line "I QUIT". The shirts are cut and sew and fit over-sized. Personally, the "I WISH YOU WOULD" tee is my favorite shirt that I own. The quality is insane an the fit is perfect.
Killer packaging.

The new shirts will be sold as a pack that include a cap, notepads, pens and a few other dope office supply items. You can pick up this latest collaboration September 12th at noon either online or in store at Off-White's Tokyo location and Babylon's LA location.

You can catch me refreshing my phone browser this next Monday, desperately trying to cop one.
