I recently spent too much money on a pair of shoes and a single t-shirt, as is the usual for me.
Granted, I've been eyeing these pieces for a while now and I'm definitely glad I managed to snag them before someone else got their grubby hands on them.
Ricardo Tisci x Nike Air Force 1's

I got the tan colorway. |
These have been an absolute grail shoe for me for about a year now. I didn't really pay attention to them much the first time I saw pictures of them online, but I saw them enough where it eventually got to the point where I NEEDED to have them. I managed to get a pair for their original retail price, which is a steal in my opinion. The collaboration between Givenchy designer
Ricardo Tisci and Nike spawned three amazing iterations of the Air Force 1, an iconic sneaker silhouette in its own right. A
white,
black and tan model were released. Other than being overpriced AF1s (which normally run about $100), these are actually made with a different, softer leather, and the color pallet is just crazy. They're comfortable and they look incredible on foot. I got the tan colorway, and then I accidentally wore them during a thunderstorm this past weekend. Oops.

Cav Empt David Tee

Details. |

Shot these photos in a Pizza Hut parking lot, don't judge. Worn with Acne Studios denim and Raf Simons x Adidas Stan Smiths. |
Good lord, I love Cav Empt. I wrote about the brand
here. I just recently purchased the "David Cut and Sew" tee from them and I love it. It fits obnoxiously oversized but still forms to my body better than say, if I bought a random 3XL tee to achieve the same look. It's also gorgeous, the design is crazy yet sort of minimal at the same time. The quote says, "So one way of explaining desire is in terms of nostalgia." with a rendering of Michelangelo's David, and the Cav Empt logo. Their signature red rubber stamp is on the left sleeve. Absolutely obsessed with this piece. Also I got a lot of positive comments on Instagram so there's that.
