I recently purchased Supreme's Script Varsity Puffer Jacket from their latest drop. I don't even wear jackets like this.

pls someone buy this off me |
I've been asking myself why I decided to drop the money on this piece ever since I hit pay (you can't refund or cancel a Supreme purchase). Maybe it was the thrill of checking out and purchasing an item seconds before it sells out. Maybe it was because it says SUPREME in big cursive letters across the front. Maybe it was because it was the day after my birthday and I thought I'd treat myself. Whatever it actually was, at the end of the day, I bought a jacket that won't look good on me and that won't fit into my wardrobe. Sure, I could flip it and make a little profit. I could deal with it and wear it since it seems super warm. For now, I've listed it on grailed.com and I'm hoping someone wants it more than me.
People get "lost in the sauce" so to speak, especially in terms of hype or coveted clothing pieces/shoes. They impulse buy something expensive, only infatuated with it up until the moment of purchase, and then are left with a hurt wallet and an item they probably don't want at all. It takes a special type of self control to steady your hand and your heart and look away from the store page/checkout cart. Especially if you're a clothing fiend like me.
Songs listened to while writing this post:
